A Mile and a Half edition by Frank Scozzari Literature Fiction eBooks
Two men caught in a surprise snowstorm on top of a mountain struggle for survival. Do they stay and trust that the storm will abate? Or do they attempt to walk out and chance being lost or worse? Author Frank Scozzari takes the reader along on a harrowing journey to the warmth of the valley below as the winds rage and their bodies slowly freeze. My only complaint is that the book is too short. Would love to see Mr. Scozzari fill out the story more fully. Definitely worth reading! A Mile and a Half edition by Frank Scozzari Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
THIS BOOK BY FRANK SCOZZARI IS A HEART STOPPER FULL OF ADVENTURE AND CORAGE UNDER ADVERSITY. THE AUTHOR KEEPS YOU AT THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT AT ALL TIMES. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO STOP READING THIS BOOK. YOU WOULD JUST ENGAGE YOURSELF IN IT AND DID NOT WANT TO STOP READING. A SHORT STORY AND AN AUTHOR THAT I WILL BE COMMING BACK FOR MORE. I AM NOW A FRANK SCOZZARI FAN.
Book takes you inside the thoughts of guys trapped in a snowstorm on top of a mountain, really kind of thought provoking - makes you think about survival and what it takes to get through. I enjoyed the read - very interesting.
A wonderful story, about two mountaineers. They have climbed a snow mountain by mistake and because of which they got stuck in the middle of their climbing. And whether they came back to the trail crest or what happened to them is the rest story. Each and everything about that snow mountain has been visualized in front of us. Even though a fiction story, author had portrayed it in a realistic way. Good and entertainer story.
This is a precious book about hope and the struggle for survival. It reflects on the human's capacity to survive even in the thinnest possibility. Caught up in an unforeseen event of a mountain climb expedition, the author was able to clearly project the character's determination to overcome all these impeding circumstances. In general. a short story like this always catches my breath and in the end makes me wonder gloriously
on human triumph. The author has style and I love this book.
A Mile and a Half is a beautifully written and an absolutely heartwarming story that demonstrates courage and determination to survive and fight to live despite thin chances of survival.
I do believe I have found a new favorite author. This short story truly displays Frank Scozzari's skill as a writer! In a very brief time he takes you on quite a journey. The pictures he paints with his words are vibrant and full of sights, sounds, and smells. I was easily able to put myself in the place of the main character. It was as if I could feel my joints stiffening in the cold while daydreaming of happier times, warm in the sunshine. This is the second book I've read by this author, and I don't think you can go wrong with one of his books. His writing is of the highest quality and very enjoyable! I look forward to reading more from Mr. Scozzari in the future.
It's Cold. It probability took me a half an hour to warm up after reading this story. This adventure is about two climbers caught in monster snow storm. It is graphic and cold. As a Floridian I have never experienced this kind of cold and this short story brought it home. I could feel the blinding snow and ice. I enjoyed the story but I'll never climb a mountain after reading this chilling event. Put on a sweater before reading.
